Lesson in Life

There is a point in life when you get tired of chasing everyone & trying to fix everything but it’s not giving up. It’s realizing that you don’t need certain people & all the drama they bring. As you grow up you realize it’s less important to have more friends & more important to have real ones. There are only so many times you allow somebody to let you down before you can’t handle the disappointment anymore. You come to realize that in the end everyone turns out to be the person they swore they'd never become. You learn promises can be broken just as quickly as they are made & even that one person that was never supposed to let you down probably will. Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself. What’s meant to be will end up good & what’s not, wont. At times people need to fight for you & if they don’t you just have to move on & realize what you gave them was more than what they were willing to give you. Always fight until you can’t fight anymore & then be fought for. Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness, laugh when you can, apologize when you should, & let go of what you can’t change. Love deeply & forgive quickly, take chances, give everything, & have no regrets. Life is too short to be unhappy. Always forgive but never forget. Learn from your mistakes but never regret. People change & things go wrong but always remember life goes on. The world is full of jealousy & hatred, fighting over pointless things & people that bring you little or no satisfaction. Grow up & accept what it is because life is too short to sit there & regret everything you do. You do things for a reason, you make decisions for a reason, you laugh for a reason & you cry for a reason. So if it’s something you chose then why regret something that at one point made you happy. Life goes faster than you think. Those who are yours probably won’t be one day. People will walk in, make you happy & walk out like you don’t even know them. You can stay awake all night & nobody will know or care. Lies don’t get you anywhere. Drama is everywhere. It’s easier to talk, easier to hear, but almost impossible to do. Everything happens for a reason. People change so you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when their right, you believe lies so that you will eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, & sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Mistakes are just another lesson learned & a second chance is just an opportunity to do right. In life we do things. Some we wish we had never done, some we wish we could replay a million times in our heads, but they all make us who we are. & in the end, those experiences shape every detail about us. If we were to reverse any of them, we wouldn’t be at the exact place that we are today. So just live. Make mistakes, & have wonderful times but never ever second guess who you are, where you have been, & most importantly, where it is that you’re going.
